After several months of anticipation, the wind pump (kijito) repairs have began at Ileret.

After delivering the spare parts to Ileret a few weeks ago, the community spent the last few weeks preparing the foundation, and wind pump frame in time for the arrival of the technicians.
Today I arrived with two kijito technicians who worked with the group to complete the repairs including joining the blades, connecting the frame. With only two more days on the ground to get the kijito running , it will be a busy weekend for the team.
