have provided a grant of USD 4,000 to support beekeeping project in Turkana. With a realization that the changes in climatic conditions and its unpredictability, reduced pasture and drying water points, have put more pressure on an already struggling people, SegalFamily Foundation, through Turkana Basin Institute’s work in the communities have funded the beekeeping to compliment to the way of life of the Turkana community of livestock keeping.
