The grant will help TBI equip the newly constructed maternity ward with a gutter system to collect drinking water and taps, latrines for patients to use, furniture and equipment for the ward, and support the community through partial funding to renovate the existing staff quarters. Last year, DAP donated about $6,900 to improve access to water in Ileret by rehabilitating the water pump.
TBI extends its deepest gratitude to the Australian High Commission on behalf of the Ileret community for their continuous support.
