Veteran fossil hunter Arbolo Aike became the latest hominid hunter to discover a Hominidae tooth. The quiet crew member whom the crew fondly refers to as mzee owing to his superior age, happened upon his priceless possesion in area 123 just days before the crew wound up their area 123 tour of duty. The site of this find was not very far from the scene of numerous other finds in 2005 where the gang discovered a record number of Hominidae. It is kudos for him from the rest of the crew members and a challenge as we await to see who gets the next golden handshake.
