Last year much of a pig skeleton was recovered from a rugged and rocky hillside covered in a tumbling dark and broken slabs of sandstone including many foot bones. We revisited this site and during long rains earlier this year, more of the pig skeleton had eroded from the slope. We were able to collect additional pieces from here. From quite close, one of the field crew discovered encased in a sandstone and calcrete cement, many parts of the skeleton of a small monkey including many of its foot and limb bones as well as a small part of its skull and lower jaw. The foot and hand bones are articulated but broken.
